Landgasthof Abraham in Arnsberg

The Landgasthaus Abraham is famous in Arnsberg and the surrounding area for its kale, but goose and roulade fans also get their taste here. In "normal" years the Abraham restaurant is one of the most popular destinations when clubs are planning their (Christmas) celebrations or other events. Since the partial lockdown is currently preventing food on site, I ordered kale with roasted potatoes and smoked sausage for last night. The restaurateurs couple assigned the pick-up appointments in fixed time windows with intervals of 10 minutes, which on the one hand contributed to the fact that there were no crowds in the yard, and on the other hand allowed the kitchen to prepare the food exactly at the time of the agreed pick-up. The kale was well seasoned and had exactly the right consistency, so it still had structure and was by no means too "mushy". The roasted potatoes lived up to their name in a positive sense and the smoked Mettwurst was a poem. I then ordered two of these per person. It tasted wonderfully even without mustard. As proof of the high quality of the food, I have to say that the anticipation of the delicious meal even prevented me from taking photos of the dish. In this respect, I can only report in writing about a perfect dinner. Taste, portion size and price-performance ratio are right at the Abraham house.

Even if the occasion could have been a better one. Unfortunately it was a funeral. Now to the inn. Good middle-class food, clean location, good service. Nice beer garden. Whether pork fillet or beef roulade, croquettes, spaetzle, etc. You can order anything here. We would love to come back. Greetings from Lower Franconia

A really nice country inn as one would wish for. Friendly staff, typical tasty schnitzel. Side dishes as requested, large selection, to choose from. Fresh fried mushrooms on the cream sauce. We will be back. Thank you.

Very cozy country inn. Food is delicious. The service very nice and quick. It is always worth a visit.

It tasted good, but the price was for a champion schnitzel with fries, without salad! For 20 € excessive dogs were in the restaurant and came to the table. That is not how it works.

Here you can eat very well in a cozy atmosphere. A beautiful beer garden beckons in summer. The host couple is very friendly and nice. I can only recommend this inn

A perfectly roasted goose and warm, attentive service. Always happy when we get a table!

The goose is delicious and side dishes, like red cabbage, dumplings are also very good. Even an extra helping of goose was offered. The decor is simple / rustic.

Beautiful building and surroundings, delicious food, very friendly staff and you can bring your dogs! They also have horses you can stroke - wonderful for children (and adults) alike.

Rustic and good middle-class restaurant in a long (family) tradition and beautiful landscape that invites you to go hiking. The owners are friendly, open and have a good sense for guests, even after years. As a tourist I could only hear good things about "Abraham" from everyone, it is a local gastronomic attraction.
